The lethal temperature for an average size Law Enforcement K-9 is 103 to 107 degrees for approximately five minutes. CoolGuard will activate and rapidly cool the K-9 Partner when dangerous (inside-vehicle) temperatures are detected which helps protect his or her life. Even if the K-9 Officer is delayed in returning to the vehicle, your K-9 Partner and your department’s Investments are protected.

 

The high speed fan moves 500 to 550 c.f.m. of air. The temperature drops 10 to 15 degrees almost immediately when the fan is activated. Complete system, plus fan will operate approx. 8 1/2 hours on standard police battery.
