All Inmate Transport Units have two (2) high volume circulation fans that replace the interior compartments air five times per minute. The seats are fully covered with 3-M skid resistant film for safety. The floors are made of heavy duty .125 gauge treadbrite aluminum.

Doors are approximately 1 1/4" thick with .125 mill finish aluminum skin over both sides of a 1" rectangular aluminum square tube to create a sandwich-type secured construction. All units have an approximate 8"x20" Lexan window for visual control. We use only stainless steel "Piano" style hinges for maintenance-free opening and closing.

The rear and side doors are secured with two (2) -each key-lockable T-handle actuated anti-burst slam locks. Each lock has a 6,000 lb. bursting strength. There is no access to any door lock from inside the unit.  All interior lights and fans are installed with a convenient switch control panel .

Units to be shipped are complete with all electrical items pre-installed. The rear step is included with each unit. The side step is included with all 3-compartment models. Each step is made of .125 gauge treadbrite aluminum for an anti-slip safety.
